Directors

Chris Jenkins

Director

Chris, who co-acquired the company with Paula in 2018, has been with Manes Controls Ltd for over 20 years. He has extensive experience in electrical contracting, panel design, software development, and commissioning, and has led the Installation department for the past 10 years.

Paula Stephens

Director

Paula, who co-acquired the company with Chris in 2018, has been with Manes Controls Ltd for nearly 30 years. Starting in the design office and training as an engineer, she is now the Managing Director. She oversees all MANES departments, manages workflow and handles all aspects of the business.

Stephen Neild

Director

Stephen, the Director of Manes Controls, boasts over 40 years of comprehensive experience in the industry. As a highly-experienced engineer with expertise in control system design, Steve founded the business in 1994. In 2018, he successfully passed the reins to Chris and Paula, ensuring the continued growth and innovation of Manes Controls.

Jordan Kelly

Senior Electrical Design / Project Engineer

Jordan has been with the company for over 10 years and is now a Senior Engineer. With high level on-site experience and a solid background in building control panels, Jordan transitioned to the engineering office while attending college. He has received comprehensive on-the-job and formal training and is highly accomplished in control panel design.

Sam Mitchell

Electrical Design / Project Engineer

Sam started on the shop floor building control panels 9 years ago. He has now moved to the office. Trained by Senior Engineer Jordan, he now designs panels at a foundational level. His hands-on experience and dedication make him a valuable asset to our team.

Nigel Gregory

Electrical Design Assistant to Project Engineers

Nigel has been with Manes Controls for 25 years. He started by building panels, progressed to Shopfloor Supervisor, and now assists our design engineers in the office. Nigel’s extensive experience and knowledge makes him an important part of our team.

Chris Garner

Shop Floor Manager

Chris Garner has been with Manes for 8 years and currently serves as our Shopfloor Manager, following his predecessor Nigel. With vast experience in panel wiring and electrical installation, Chris excels in his role. He is also committed to training our apprentices to high standards, ensuring the future success of our team.

Chris Woolley-Ollerenshaw

Test Engineer

Chris Woolley-Ollerenshaw has been with the company for 16 years, beginning his career building control panels and working within the installation department. In recent years, Chris has transitioned to testing all control panels and overseeing quality inspection. His extensive experience and commitment to quality are invaluable to our team.

Scott Hughes

Installation Manager

Scott has been with the company for over 7 years, following 14 years in the electrical industry with his previous employer. His expertise spans panel building, design and programming, service, and installation. In his current role, Scott applies all these skills to a high standard, consistently delivering exceptional results.

Ross Adams

Installation Supervisor

Ross has been with the company for 8 years, initially starting in control panel building before discovering his drive for electrical installation. Progressing from apprentice to site supervisor, Ross has earned various qualifications and skills. Ross now oversees site operations and is currently expanding his expertise in software programming.

Sales and Purchasing

Danielle Mills

Sale and Purchase Ledger

Danielle has been with the company 17 years and expertly manages both the sales and purchase ledgers. She brings vast experience in accounts and proficiency in Sage software, ensuring our financial operations run smoothly and efficiently.

Emma Burgoyne

Purchase manager

Emma has been with the company for 19 years, progressing from an admin apprentice to her current role as Purchasing Manager. She handles all procurement activities at Manes, negotiating deals with suppliers and ensuring the best terms for the company. Additionally, Emma manages customer accounts, providing support and assistance to ensure their satisfaction.

Becky Ryan

Thortec Manager

Becky rejoined the company in 2022 as the Thortec Manager, overseeing our spares department for urgent component needs. She provides technical assistance to customers and advises on the correct equipment required. In addition, Becky manages our IS09001 quality management system, ensuring adherence to high standards.
